AUTHOR
On March 9, 2020 I woke up to hear the prime minister in Italy instrumenting a nation wide quarantine due to the explosion of COVID-19. As I watched my town of Catania, Italy turned upside down I realized I decided it was time for me to write the book I’ve always wanted to. And I've jumped all the way in!
A Few Highlights:
• Growing up as a military child called "four eyes"
• Joining the Navy
• Being told I would never get into dental school but later graduating and becoming an orthodontist as a Commander in the Navy
• Entering a pageant on a whim and winning Ms. United States and International Ms
Interweaved are stories that share my journey as well as lessons learned along the way. Each chapter finishes with motivational advice with my final chapter providing resources that can also aid you in your journey to greatness. My mission is to share what helped me to believe in myself when others would not -- in order to help others!
