One month later I’m standing in front of 1,000 middle school girls sharing my stories of being bullied, called four eyes and told I would never finish college, let alone become a dentist. I wanted them to see beyond the silver shiny facade of a confident woman on stage and know I understood them. Later that day they saw me scrubs in patient care to wearing my military uniform. It was in that moment I realize that being a speaker you could motivate, inspire and be confidentially vulnerable-that was my gift I wanted to share.

Since then I’ve been humbled to share, and speak at high school auditoriums, local town festivals and professional networking groups. As a public speaker, my goal is to lead and empower others to up level their leadership in every aspect of their life. We all need people to remind us of who we are, what we are capable of and to surround ourselves with those who can give us the support to have the courage of where we want to go. My mission when I speak is when you seek the unattainable, you change the game.
